The lift has been available for use since December, 2019 and is nearly paid off. Many thanks to our designer/architect Jim Shipsky, builder Ken Frost, and to all who contributed!
When our congregation committed to having a lift put in to make our sanctuary and downstairs accessible, we knew we would need to raise about $80,000. Proceeds from fundraisers such as the Holiday Fair, Crepe Gala, and Lawn Sale went toward this commitment, and appeal letters were sent to church members and friends. Now, after about a year, we have raised all but about $6,500, and we send a huge Thank You! to all who pitched in.
We are grateful that you joined in to make this happen. You lifted us up! The Board will use the line of credit that was part of a planned loan to finish paying off the lift. You're more than welcome to contribute toward the final amount, but at this point, your fundraising chairs are celebrating the congregation's accomplishment.
Thanks from your happy, grateful fundraising chairs -- Rachel Marsh-Sachs and Kathy McKay
A direct donation by check can be made out to the church with “Lift Donation" in the memo section. Or use the Donate button, below; please add "Lift Donation" as a Note.
