The Interfaith Council is open to any religious group in the Waterville area. This group meets once per month (2nd Wednesday) at Pleasant Street United Methodist Church to discuss topics of church, synagogue, and religious life in the community and at local colleges.
All members contribute to an Interfaith fund to help those in need with rent, heating fuel, and gas cards. At each meeting, there is often a guest invited to briefly speak about their topic of interest and to inform the group of topics and programs.
The Interfaith Council works with the oft mentioned phrase, ”It takes a village."
