Thank you for supporting us!
Sunday Worship is a time and place where people of every age are vital to the congregation’s well-being, and sense of community. Spiritual nourishment, community building, intellectual challenge, inspiration, continuity with the Unitarian Universalist Faith, multigenerational connections, and expression of the living tradition of Unitarian Universalism are all possible. Our Sunday Services begin at 10:00 A.M. from September to June. During the summer, services are lay-led and begin at 9:30 A.M.
The Worship Committee is empowered and supported by the collaboration of more than a dozen lay leaders and the Minister of the congregation. They work together to plan, design, and implement worship for the entire year where so many aspects of our faith come together publicly. Opportunities for feedback from the congregation are built in at various times during the year, in order to improve the quality of all of worship services. During sabbatical leaves the Worship Team is responsible for coordination of Sunday services.
The goal of our Worship Committee is to provide services that balance tradition and innovation appealing to all ages, and to foster a deepening sense of belonging and commitment. In this way Worship manifests as a living, vibrant expression of Unitarian Universalism faith, which honors both our unity and diversity.
