The UU Church is sensitive to, and very careful about, privacy issues.  For instance, the version of our newsletter ("The Point") that is posted to the Web does not include the "Among Ourselves" and birthday celebration sections.

A Media Release Form is available for individuals and parents of minor children to grant (or not) permission for the church to use their image in church communications and publications in digital and printed media. Completed forms can be put in the offering plate on Sunday or sent to the church mailing address (below).

Even when "media release" permission is granted, our policy is to not include identifying information (names, addresses, email addresses, names of family members, employers, or schools) when using images of people in bulletins, posters, brochures, newsletters, and other printed material, nor on our website or in social media.  Exceptions may be made when, for example, an individual gives express or implied permission for use of that information when they are featured in another organization's publication, documentary film, etc. that we share.
