Path to Membership
We truly hope you find the UU Church of Waterville to be a supportive community, where you can continue your spiritual journey and help to make a difference in the world. Whether you are new to the church or have been attending regularly, here are answers to some questions you may have about making the commitment to becoming a member:
What does becoming a member mean?
Simply stated, it is the commitment to share your unique gifts and talents for the wellbeing of the whole.
How do I become a member?
The process is simple. You will be invited to meet with Fellowship Committee and/or other church members to learn about the history and traditions of Unitarian Universalism as well as opportunities for you to become involved in your church community.
When can I become a member?
Once you have attended these informational sessions, you will be ready to sign the membership book in a special ceremony. These ceremonies are called New Member Sundays and are usually held during January, April, and October.
Whom do I contact for more information?
If you would like to learn more about becoming a member, please send us an email or contact us at (207) 873-4006.
We look forward to having you join us!
