The Interfaith Council is open to any religious group in the Waterville area. The group meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Pleasant Street United Methodist Church to discuss topics of church, synagogue, and religious life in the community and at local colleges.
All members contribute to an Interfaith fund to help those in need with rent, heating fuel, and gas cards. There is often a guest invited to briefly speak about a topic of interest and to inform the group about issues and programs.
The Interfaith Council works with the oft mentioned phrase, ”It takes a village."
