Ongoing Projects

First Sunday Donations

On the first Sunday of each month, we give our non-pledge, in-church offering to a local, non-profit organization or the Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

The Second Sunday Souper Wagon

This “souper” little red wagon appears at the beginning of the service to collect ready-to-eat donations of peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, and other supplies for the Evening Sandwich Program.

Mid-Maine Homeless Shelter

On the third Friday of the month, a team has lead volunteers in preparing dinner for the guests at the shelter.

Waterville Harvest Fair

Church members sell cider and donuts to raise money for committee work and increase awareness of the UU Church of Waterville’s role in the community.

Annual Donations Drive

Once a year, church members collect items for various groups in need. School supplies for local children, personal care products for the homeless shelter, and emergency bags for the FVP are some of our past projects.
